In a statement released by V. Harrison Dillard, founder of NAACP of Hunterdon County 24AC, “We are excited to share some extraordinary news with you. Our vision of launching a branch of the NAACP here in Hunterdon County, has now become a reality.”
Dillard continued, “Over the last year, we have been working in partnership with the State Conference of the NAACP to make our county’s chapter come to life. We could not be more excited about the work we will be doing for our citizens and in your role as leaders within Hunterdon County.”
He added, “The NAACP of Hunterdon County was formed to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality for all, and by partnering with our local stakeholders, community leaders, other civic groups, and all those interested in removing barriers of racial discrimination, we will collectively address the following priorities:
